Rakesh Edavalath is a supply chain and contracting professional with 35 years’ experience in oil & gas industry with more than 20 years of international exposure.
He is a Mechanical Engineer by education with additional qualification in materials and supply chain management. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK. Worked 12 years in India with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation in India followed by 6 years in Zakum Development Company (ADNOC group).
Since 2007, he has been heading the Supply Chain & Contracting function at Crescent Petroleum Company in Sharjah, UAE, responsible for all procurement, contracting, logistics and warehousing, and travel functions of the company. He is responsible for the supply chain activities for Crescent’s oil and gas operations in Kurdistan region of Iraq and the company’s new projects in Federal Iraq.
He is involved in philanthropic endeavours to provide fairer access to school education back home in India.
