Vinay Palankar is a seasoned procurement and supply chain leader with over 15 years of experience driving complex sourcing and supply chain strategies across the global energy sector. He has led procurement for multi-billion-dollar EPC projects and end-to-end supply chain operations across oil & gas, petrochemicals, and industrial manufacturing.
Vinay has worked with some of the most respected names in the industry — including Borouge (ADNOC Group), McDermott, DP World, and Larsen & Toubro — managing procurement operations across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and global markets.
His core expertise lies in procurement transformation — leveraging data, advanced analytics, and digital technologies to unlock value, build resilient supply chains, and drive operational excellence. He is deeply passionate about the future of procurement and is currently exploring the application of AI, intelligent systems, and data-driven models to redefine how procurement and supply chain organizations operate.
Vinay holds an Electrical Engineering degree, an MBA, and a Master’s in Big Data & Business Analytics from IE Business School, Madrid. He is also an MCIPS-certified procurement professional.
