From 2011 to 2016, as a Commercial Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, she empowered American exporters to secure international contracts and dismantled regulatory obstacles for U.S. businesses in Malaysia. Earlier in the 2000s, she shaped Malaysia’s economic landscape as Assistant Director at the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority, modernizing cross-border licensing and Free Trade Zone frameworks to advance the Industrial Master Plan.
