John Smith is the Chief Delivery Officer at Indovinya, the specialty chemicals and surfactants division of Indorama Ventures. He is globally responsible for the end-to-end integration of the business supply chain and serves as Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) with a focus on optimizing cost of goods sold, strengthening
strategic capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. In this role, he also has leadership responsibility for IT/Digital, Transformation, and Licensing. Since joining Indorama Ventures in 2017 as vice president of operations, Smith has played a key role in shaping the performance and integration of critical acquisitions and assets and prior leadership of the Upstream Business. He leads Indovinya’s
delivery operations with a strong commitment to operational integrity, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. His leadership supports Indovinya’s position as a trusted partner to our suppliers and customers in the specialty chemicals sector and as a leading producer of surfactants in the
Americas.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana Tech University and an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University. He is based in The Woodlands, Texas.
