With 35 years at SLB, Pearl Chu began her career in Houston as a mechanical engineer developing technologies for the drilling industry. She advanced into leadership roles spanning operations, technology management and human resources, with nearly half of her professional life working internationally in Paris, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur. Currently Director Technical Domains & University Relations at SLB, Pearl leads strategic development of the SLB global technical community plus university collaborations worldwide. Holding degrees from Texas A&M and Georgia Tech, Pearl was appointed Board Chair for the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC) in 2023 and joined the Global Energy Transition (GET) Board in 2025.
