Lauren is a senior executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the oil and gas industry. She has a broad functional background with extensive experience in global operations and corporate roles including IT, global supply chain, commercial, planning, corporate strategy, maintenance systems, construction, and compliance.

During Lauren’s career she has been a trusted go-to leader for the execution of high-profile projects with an outstanding history of managing projects from initial conception through development, implementation, and successful results. She is a change agent with a history of restructuring and turning around failing projects and business units.

Lauren is currently the executive for Global Supply Chain at Noble Corp where she is responsible for overseeing company-wide procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and trade compliance to ensure a competitive cost structure and optimal supplier relationships that drive sustained growth and increased profitability.

Lauren joined Noble through the recent acquisition of Pacific Drilling where she served as Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain. Lauren has served as an executive advisor for Fortune 1000 companies including Wanhua Chemicals where she supported Wanhua’s corporate structuring, commercial strategies and negotiations for the site selection, raw materials, and EPC agreements for its first $1.25 billion chemical complex investment in the US.

Byars served as the executive for Supply Chain, IT, & Compliance at Scorpion Offshore until its acquisition by Seadrill. Lauren spent 19 years with Pride International / Marine Drilling, where she held a variety of roles with increasing responsibilities; her latest as the executive for global supply chain.

Byars holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in Operations Management with a minor in Accounting from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
