BRANDEE FERNANDEZ, Senior Sourcing Sustainability Manager with Baker Hughes, graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Production and Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Master of Business Administration Degree in Management from Oklahoma State University (OSU-Tulsa, Oklahoma), and currently enrolled at the University of Houston to obtain her Doctorate through the Executive DBA Program in Houston, Texas with a focus on ethical leadership in an AI world. Brandee is Green Belt Certified and obtained C.P.M. and CPIM credentials through ISM/APICS respectively.
Brandee has experience in multiple supply chain roles within several industries. Developing her supply chain and leadership experience in aerospace, automotive, oil & gas and retail has provided a vast experience in leadership, team dynamics, inventory management, procurement, supplier quality management, strategic sourcing, conflict management, employee development, and supplier relationship management.
In her recent responsibilities, Brandee has been actively developing Scope 3 Category 1 emission strategies through supplier engagement and monitoring multi-tiered risk via supplier risk management tools for early detection of potential concerns that could impact the value chain.
In Brandee’s spare time, she enjoys volunteering with organizations (Keep Friendswood Beautiful, Friendswood High School Incubator Program, FISD PTO, & CSCMP Mentor Program) to mentor individuals at all ages to drive passions to reality. She also enjoys photography, traveling the world, staying physically fit, spending time with her family, and continuously learning.
