As Global Strategic Soucing Director at Baker Hughes Mauricio is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing activities across Baker Hughes, including Sustainability, Supplier Quality, Sourcing Digitalization, Risk Management and the regional teams of Latam and Central & Eastern Europe.
Mauricio has over 30 years of supply chain experience from Manufacturing to Sourcing. He started his Career at Cummins, moving to Unilever and then joining GE in 2007, where he worked on several businesses as Sourcing and Supply Chain Leader until 2020, when he joined Baker Hughes in his current position.
Mauricio holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and further degrees on Business Management, Finance and Marketing from other institutions.
Mauricio lives in Houston, is married to Fernanda and has two kids. Likes swimming, running and biking.
